Interesting day yesterday

We decided half way to Towcester that we would head east to Grafham.  Absolutely epic that way with the Hornet doing 103kph, me doing 101kph and the LAK17bfes doing 105+.  

Meanwhile it sounded like the competitors had a slow section around Ledbury but still got back a shade under 100kph. 

Today is grey and overcast and actually quite cold. 

Talk of a task in the afternoon but I would assume given they have had 7/7 days they won't hang on til 17:00 or such like.

The met man can over and stated:

Just back from retrieving Jerry from Winslow

Booming day.  100+kph in the Ash all the way back to Winslow followed by a slog through the sea breeze to squeeze back

Looks like plenty of finishers.  Special mention though to Mike Gatfield who landed at Lutterworth Golf Course.
